8. Why sometimes a Windows users will see icons with a lower resolution? It sometimes may happen that a Windows user will see some of his icons a little bit fuzzy when applied to a folder or document, that doesn't depend on the icon itself but on the different way to manage icons files between Mac an Windows. To have a good result Windows users are suggested to buy or download icons with a clean, linear look and with no complicated shadow effects. Anyway Windows users won't have any problem with icons image files and with icons itselves when used for websites and other stuff.
9. Why some icons sets are showing up as documents rather than icons when unzipped (Mac)? We publish icons from many different authors and each one of them uses a different way to create and export his/her own icons. It sometimes happens that icons set are exported as simple ".icns" files and, when unzipped, they show up like anonymous documents. These icons aren't damaged or unworking, they are just a bit less easy to use than others. My advise, in these occasions, is to open and apply your icons using one of the freeware/shareware software that you can find on the web as IconBox or Pixadex. These softwares are very useful to open, view, apply every kind of icon to your documents/folder and are a great, free, simple and fast drag&drop solution to store, organize and have a preview of your icons.
